  1. Author Jonathan Sturak takes the reader into an inferno of a world – one easy to imagine given the catastrophic weather the present world continues to witness. However in this bleak scenario engineer and ceo Melissa Mercer and heat shield technician James Wilson are determined to survive and hopefully save humanity against every challenge thrown their way. Many others have given up now that the U.S. population has fallen below 100,000. This underground world is not even safe for the President of New America. Author Sturak takes us to the scorched landscape above ground, which few have seen, and with heat shields failing, snakes us through the underground with all of its intrigue, treachery, suspense and hope. A great and enthralling read.
